.: Help for appraise

The appraise command pays a merchant to
reveal the properties of an item in your backpack.

Usage: 

  appraise sword

Costs 20 gold per item. You must be in a room with a
merchant.

If you know the identify spell, you
can examine items anywhere without a merchant. See
help identify.
