.: Help for blacksmithing (skill)

Blacksmithing is the craft of working metal. With a forge and the right materials a
blacksmith can produce weapons, shields, and eventually armor. The skill is governed
by Strength — heavier work demands a stronger hand.

━━━ Requirements ━━━

  Station:   A forge must be in the room with you.
             The Forge is east of Town Square in Startland.
  Materials: Iron ingots, leather strips, wooden planks, and similar raw materials.
             Find them on the ground in The Forge or loot cave goblins.

  Iron Dagger     Skill 0   1x iron-ingot, 1x leather-strip       3 rounds
  Iron Buckler    Skill 5   2x iron-ingot, 1x wooden-plank         4 rounds

━━━ Skill Progression ━━━

Blacksmithing improves through use. Each successful craft has a chance to advance your
skill. Because crafting happens infrequently compared to combat, the skill progresses
faster per use than combat skills do.

There is no trainer for blacksmithing — practice is the only teacher.

  craft list          Show all recipes, including blacksmithing ones, with status.
  craft       Begin crafting a blacksmithing recipe.
  skills              Check your current blacksmithing skill level.
