.: Help for mutations The Chrysalis — a plague that swept across Gaius — does not merely sicken. Over time, it reshapes those it infects. Through sustained combat, your body is pushed beyond its limits and the Chrysalis seizes the opportunity to rewrite you. ━━━ Acquiring Mutations ━━━ Mutations emerge on their own — you cannot choose or train for them. Each combat round you spend in active battle builds internal pressure. When that pressure reaches a threshold, the Chrysalis forces a change. You will see a message: Something stirs beneath your skin. A mutation emerges: Tough Skin. Each subsequent mutation requires significantly more combat to trigger. Rarer mutations contribute more weight, making the next one even harder to earn. You can carry up to five mutations at once. ━━━ Pros and Cons ━━━ Every mutation has both benefits and drawbacks. The Chrysalis does not improve you cleanly — it trades one capability for another. Some mutations conflict with each other and cannot coexist in the same body. ━━━ Active Abilities ━━━ Some mutations grant active abilities you can use in combat. These appear as commands you can type during a fight. Active abilities share the special-move cooldown slot. ━━━ Commands ━━━ mutations List your current mutations with descriptions. status Shows active mutations (IDs and level) in your stat panel. ━━━ Known Mutations ━━━ Passive Mutations: Fast Reflexes Quicker reactions; slightly reduced raw strength.
