.: Help for stamina

Stamina represents your physical endurance and is a critical resource in combat and
exploration. Managing stamina effectively is the key to survival in extended fights.

━━━ What is Stamina? ━━━

Stamina is your physical energy pool, used for:
  - Defensive actions (dodge, parry, block)
  - Special combat moves (bash, trip, kick)
  - Standing up when knocked prone
  - Movement and other physical activities

Maximum Stamina: Based on your Vitality stat
Regeneration: Regenerates slowly during combat, faster while resting

━━━ Stamina Costs ━━━

Every defensive action and special move costs stamina:

  Defensive Actions (per attempt):
  - Dodge: 2 stamina (cheapest defense)
  - Parry: 4 stamina (requires weapon)
  - Block: 5 stamina (requires shield, most expensive)

  Special Combat Moves:
  - Bash: Variable stamina
  - Trip: Variable stamina
  - Kick: Variable stamina

  Recovery Actions:
  - Stand: 15% of maximum stamina (manual recovery from prone)
  - Auto-recovery: Free (automatic standing attempts)

Note: Defenses cost stamina even when they fail. A single incoming attack can drain
8-11 stamina if all three defenses miss (2+4+5)!

━━━ Low Stamina Penalties ━━━

When your stamina drops below 50% of maximum, you suffer severe penalties:

  Combat Penalties:
  - Reduced Hit Chance: Harder to land attacks
  - Reduced Damage: Weaker attacks
  - Reduced Defense: Less effective defenses (still cost full stamina!)

  Stamina Exhaustion:
  - Cannot use stand command if below 15% stamina
  - Some abilities may be restricted at very low stamina

Fighting at low stamina is extremely dangerous. Your defenses still drain stamina
but become less effective, creating a death spiral if you can't regenerate or flee.

━━━ Stamina Management Strategy ━━━

  1. Watch Your Stamina:
Monitor stamina in your combat prompt. When it drops below 50%, consider fleeing
  or ending combat to regenerate.

  2. Choose Defenses Wisely:
Shields are powerful but drain stamina quickly (5 per block). Dodge-focused builds
are more stamina-efficient (2 per dodge).

  3. Use Special Moves Tactically:
Don't spam special moves. Use them when knockdown would give a significant advantage,
  not just for extra damage.

  4. Standing Up:
Auto-recovery is free (costs no stamina), while stand costs 15%. Only use
manual stand when you absolutely must get up immediately.

  5. Vitality Stat:
Increase your Vitality stat to raise maximum stamina. More stamina = longer fights
  before penalties kick in.

━━━ Stamina Regeneration ━━━

During Combat: Slow regeneration (configurable, usually ~2-5 per round)
While Resting: Fast regeneration when not in combat
Vitality Bonus: Higher Vitality increases regeneration rate

Stamina regeneration during combat is intentionally slow to make extended fights
challenging. If you're losing the stamina war, flee and recover!

━━━ Improving Maximum Stamina ━━━

  Vitality Stat:
Your primary stamina stat. Every point of Vitality increases max stamina.
  Vitality progresses through use-based mechanics.

  Equipment:
Some items provide Vitality bonuses, indirectly increasing stamina.

  Buffs:
Temporary buffs may increase maximum stamina or regeneration rate.
