.: Help for stand The stand command forces you to your feet when you've been knocked down (prone). It's guaranteed to succeed, but costs a meaningful chunk of stamina. Requirements: - Must be prone (knocked down) - Must have enough stamina to pay the cost Usage: stand Stand up immediately, bypassing automatic recovery Mechanics: Stamina Cost: A meaningful portion of your maximum stamina Success Rate: 100% (guaranteed, unlike automatic recovery) Action Cost: Uses your action for the current round Automatic Recovery: If you don't manually stand, you will automatically attempt to recover each round after a brief delay: - Minimum Duration: Must remain prone for at least one full round - Recovery Chance: Scales with your Dexterity — nimble characters scramble to their feet faster than lumbering ones - Recovery Penalty: Only one attack that round (your focus is on getting up) Strategy: Use stand when you must get up immediately and have stamina to spare. Otherwise, save your stamina and let automatic recovery handle it — you still get one attack while scrambling up. If you are sleeping, stand will wake you up.
